WSG Gallery is pleased to present the work of member artist Elizabeth Schwartz.  In this series of new paintings and drawings Ms. Schwartz brings us a collection of acrylic paintings inspired by the visual complexities and textures found in nature.  She writes that her abstractions are intended "at times to soothe, at times to excite the viewer, and to evoke a bit of disequilibrium: wind-swept sand dunes, riotous waters, flow from unknown sources.  The work is often on a large scale to convey a sense of nature’s grandeur and power, beauty and turbulence."
