In Stillness in Motion, Lynda Cole works with encaustic wax on double layers of screen to draw still pictures with the wax while allowing the Moire patterns in the screen to make the motion. Like life - one looks for the still moments in the business of living. With silver leaf on mylar Lynda Cole presents patterns and ideas that have been with us through history and are still present today in our search for moments of quiet and focus in our busy lives.
