This contemporary textile art piece is handwoven on a jacquard loom. It is woven with cotton, rayon, paper and polyester and chenille yarns, to create a rich and complex dimensional surface. Many of the yarns have been hand dyed with natural dyes. It is stretched and sewn onto an artists stretcher frame.
