The 'Window Strike Series' is a new watercolor series for me. I'm a birder (bird watcher) and I always find it so sad when a bird meets its match with a window. This series is a celebration of life, of sorts. It gives me a chance to study the beauty of each bird - in my mind, they haven't died in vain, if I capture their beauty in paint.
